The Toraja Tribe, living on Indonesia’s Sulawesi Island, continues to live with a lifeless body in the same house for a while when their relatives die. This period can take years. After the corpse is placed in caves or chamber tombs in a coffin, the coffins are opened and the clothes of the dead body are changed every three years.
