On August 31, 2023, NASA has just confirmed that they have discovered six new exoplanets beyond our solar system tipping the scale to a whopping fifty five hundred exoplanets discovered uptill now. Just about 31 years ago in 1992, the first exoplanets were confirmed when scientists detected twin planets named Poltergeist and Phobetor orbiting the pulsar PSR B1257+12. I am happy that we learned so much in such a short span, but at the same time it gives me shivers that I will not age long enough to witness many space wonders and astronomical events, that humanity will achieve in the future. #shorts #ytshorts #youtubeshorts
